Amazon Vine strategy and enrollment
Which ASINs go into Vine, when (ideally before launch), how many units and how to spread them across child variations, so the first reviews land where shoppers will see them.
CommerceKind runs Amazon Vine and review management for brands, inside Amazon’s rules. Our in-house team decides which products should go into Amazon Vine and when, enrolls them with the right number of units across variations, keeps Request a Review running on eligible orders, monitors ratings and reviews on every ASIN, reports reviews that break Amazon’s policies, and turns what customers say into fixes to the listing, the images, the packaging or the product. We never buy, incentivize or filter reviews, and we never promise a star rating. We cover every Amazon marketplace where these programs run, including the US, the UK and Canada.

Amazon’s own Request a Review, sent consistently within the allowed window. Requests are neutral: no incentives, no asking only happy customers.
Weekly tracking of star rating, review count and new critical reviews by ASIN and marketplace, with alerts when a rating drops.
Reviews that break Amazon’s community guidelines, such as reviews about the wrong product, abusive content or seller feedback posted as a review, reported through Amazon’s tools.
Recurring complaints about size, fit, instructions, expectations or quality turned into sharper bullets, images, A+ Content and, where needed, product or packaging changes.
Packaging inserts and buyer messages checked against Amazon’s rules: no incentives, no requests for positive reviews and no steering buyers off Amazon.

Reviews decide whether a shopper buys. They are also one of the riskiest areas on Amazon: buying reviews, offering anything in exchange for one, asking only happy customers or having friends and family review a product can lead Amazon to remove reviews, suppress listings or suspend accounts. Review management done properly means using the programs Amazon provides, mainly Amazon Vine and Request a Review, doing them well and consistently, and fixing the reasons customers leave poor reviews in the first place.
Amazon Vine invites trusted reviewers, called Vine Voices, to try products free of charge and post honest reviews. Brands can enroll eligible FBA products in Vine, including new products before launch and existing products with fewer than 30 reviews, offering up to 30 units per parent product. Amazon chooses the reviewers and charges an enrollment fee per parent product based on the number of units, with very small enrollments free. Vine reviews are honest, so a product with a real problem will hear about it. That is why we check the listing and the product before enrolling, enroll early enough for reviews to arrive at launch, and spread units across the variations shoppers will buy. Vine runs in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and Japan.
The most useful thing in a review is the reason behind it. If customers say the size runs small, the instructions are confusing or the product isn’t what the images suggested, the fix is in the listing, the images or the product, not in more review requests. We group review themes every week, rewrite bullets, images and A+ Content to set the right expectations, answer the questions buyers keep asking, and share product and packaging issues with your team. Better listings also help Amazon’s AI shopping assistant, Alexa for Shopping (formerly Rufus), which uses reviews and listing content to answer shoppers: see Rufus and Alexa for Shopping optimization.
Review management works best alongside the rest of the account. New products get Vine in our Amazon product launch plan, listing fixes run through Amazon listing optimization, counterfeit and hijacker complaints go to brand protection, and brands that want one team for everything choose Amazon account management. Brands that prefer software can compare options in our review management tools guide. Agencies that want this service under their own brand can use our white-label Amazon review management. See our listing-first case study for how fixing the listing first changes results.
We will not buy reviews, give products or refunds in exchange for reviews, use review groups or rebate schemes, ask only satisfied buyers, or promise a star rating, a number of reviews or a timeline. These shortcuts put the whole account at risk, and no honest agency can guarantee what customers write.

It runs the programs Amazon allows for earning reviews and looks after the ones you get: Amazon Vine enrollment and timing, Request a Review on eligible orders, rating and review monitoring, reporting reviews that break Amazon’s guidelines, and turning review themes into listing, image and product fixes. CommerceKind does this in-house, inside Amazon’s rules.
Yes. We choose which products to enroll and when, ideally before launch, set the number of units and spread them across variations, monitor the reviews as they arrive and act on what Vine Voices say. Vine is available for eligible FBA products of brands in Brand Registry, including new products and products with fewer than 30 reviews.
For new products and products with few reviews it often is, because early honest reviews help shoppers decide and give you feedback quickly. Vine reviews are honest, so we check the listing and the product first. Amazon charges an enrollment fee per parent product based on the number of units offered, and very small enrollments are free.
We cannot remove honest negative reviews, and nobody legitimate can. We report reviews that break Amazon’s community guidelines, such as reviews about the wrong product, abusive content or seller feedback posted as a review, and we fix the issues that cause genuine negative reviews.
No. Customers decide what they write. We can make sure every eligible order gets a compliant review request, that Vine is used well and that the listing and product address what customers complain about, which is what moves ratings over time.
Inserts are allowed if they don’t offer anything in return for a review, don’t ask for a positive review and don’t send buyers off Amazon. We check inserts and buyer messages against Amazon’s current rules before they are used.
Yes. We manage Vine and reviews on every Amazon marketplace where these programs run, including the US, the UK, Canada and Europe.
