Amazon agency
for lawn & garden brands

CommerceKind is an Amazon agency for lawn, garden and patio brands: garden tools and hand tools, planters and raised beds, seeds and growing kits, fertilizer, soil and plant food, weed and pest control, hoses and irrigation, solar and outdoor lighting, bird feeders, grills and outdoor cooking, and patio furniture. Our in-house team plans stock and ads around the spring and summer season, checks pesticide, battery and fuel rules before listings go live, works out the cheapest way to fulfil bulky items, writes listings around the problems gardeners search for and runs Amazon PPC to contribution margin. We manage Seller Central and Vendor Central across every Amazon marketplace, including the US, Canada, the UK and Europe.

What our lawn and garden Amazon service covers

Season planning

Stock, listings and ad budgets planned months ahead of spring, so inventory is checked in at FBA before demand starts and budgets rise as each region warms up.

Pesticide, fertilizer and plant rules

Weed killers, insect and pest control and “weed and feed” products checked against Amazon’s pesticide policy and EPA registration or exemption before listing, and seed and plant listings checked for shipping restrictions.

Batteries, fuel and hazmat

Cordless trimmers, blowers and mowers with lithium batteries, propane accessories and fuel-containing items taken through Amazon’s dangerous goods review with the right safety data.

Bulky and oversize fulfilment

Patio furniture, raised beds, sheds, grills and hose reels costed across FBA, Seller Fulfilled Prime and your own 3PL, with packaging that survives the trip.

Listings built on the gardener’s problem

Titles, bullets, images and A+ Content written around what buyers search for: lawn type, plant type, garden size, climate, materials and weather resistance.

Amazon PPC to margin

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display built on problem, product and season searches, with bids set from each product’s margin and branded terms defended.

Why lawn and garden is different on Amazon

Lawn and garden is one of Amazon’s most seasonal categories. Most of the year’s sales arrive in a few spring and summer months, demand starts earlier in warm regions than in cold ones, and a brand that runs out of stock in April rarely gets those sales back. The category also mixes very different products: a packet of seeds, a bottle of weed killer, a cordless trimmer and a six-piece patio set each have their own rules, fees and fulfilment problems. Brands that win plan the season early, get the product rules right before listing and price bulky items with real fulfilment costs in mind.

Planning the season, not reacting to it

Amazon’s FBA check-in times stretch in spring, when every garden brand is sending stock at once. We plan inventory from last season’s sales and this year’s forecast, send it early enough to be live before demand starts and use Amazon Warehousing and Distribution or your own warehouse to keep FBA topped up. Ad budgets rise as demand builds, are moved toward the products and regions selling best and are pulled back as the season ends, so slow stock is promoted before long-term storage fees rise. Autumn products such as bulbs, leaf blowers, lawn seed and fertilizer, and Q4 gifts such as grill accessories, get their own plan.

Pesticide, fertilizer, seed and plant rules

Products that claim to kill, repel or control weeds, insects or other pests are treated as pesticides. On Amazon US they generally need an EPA registration number or must meet the minimum-risk exemption, and some states have their own registration rules. A natural or organic product that makes a pest-control claim is still a pesticide product. We check each listing against Amazon’s pesticide policy, keep claims to what the label and registration allow, and prepare the documents Amazon asks for. Fertilizers, soils and plant food are checked for coverage, organic and safety claims. Seeds, bulbs and live plants can have state shipping restrictions, and live plants usually ship from your own warehouse rather than FBA. We are not regulatory advisers, so we work with your regulatory contact on anything new. See our Amazon compliance documents page for how we handle documents.

Batteries, fuel and bulky items

Cordless garden tools with lithium batteries, solar lights with built-in batteries and propane grill accessories go through Amazon’s dangerous goods review, which can hold a listing until safety data sheets are accepted. We submit the right documents before stock ships. Patio furniture, raised beds, sheds, grills and hose reels often fall into Amazon’s large or bulky size tiers, where fees can eat most of the margin. We compare FBA, Seller Fulfilled Prime and your own 3PL for each product, review packaging to cut size tiers and damage, and set prices with the real fulfilment cost in mind. Furniture brands can also see our Amazon agency for furniture and home decor.

Listings and creative built on the gardener’s problem

Garden buyers search by problem and situation: grass seed for shade, raised beds for small spaces, weed killer safe for pets, drip irrigation for vegetables, solar lights for a path. We build titles, bullets and backend terms from those searches, show size, coverage, materials and weather resistance clearly in images, use comparison charts in A+ Content to separate one product from the next and answer assembly and durability questions before buyers ask. See our Amazon listing optimization.

PPC built around the season

Our Amazon PPC management separates problem searches, product searches and branded searches, defends your brand terms, uses Sponsored Brands video to show products in the garden and sets bids from each product’s margin rather than a blanket ACoS target. Budgets follow the season: tested before spring, raised as demand builds and pulled back as it fades. We manage $3M+ in monthly ad spend across our clients. In one account, a rebuilt campaign structure turned 54% more ad spend into 117% more ad revenue at a lower ACoS: see the PPC scaling case study. Results depend on product, margin and category, and we share a plan after reviewing your account.

Every Amazon marketplace, plus TikTok Shop

We run Amazon in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Europe and other marketplaces, and plan each one on its own season; see Amazon international expansion. Garden and outdoor products also sell on TikTok Shop through makeover, growing and before-and-after videos, which we run in-house as an Official TikTok Shop Partner: see our TikTok Shop agency for home improvement and tools brands. Related pages: Amazon agency for home improvement and tools and Amazon agency for sporting goods and outdoor brands. Agencies with garden clients can offer this under their own brand through our white-label Amazon account management.

Trustworthy partner in the Amazon business

I can say that I've found in CommerceKind a reliable and trustworthy partner in the Amazon business.

Before starting our collaboration I had several talks with Hamza where he showed to me the strategy and forecast with accuracy and realism; then after almost 3 months into the partnership I can state that his team's approach is deeply rooted into reality and efficiency since they operate on several sides of the seller account: ppc advertising and listing improvement, taking control over all issues that pop up when handling the operational side as well.

The weekly catch-up and open communication on everyday workflow makes them an asset in our structure.

After cycling through 3 agencies that overpromised...

After cycling through 3 agencies that overpromised and underdelivered, I was ready to manage everything in-house again. Giving CommerceKind a shot was a last-ditch effort, and I'm glad I did. The biggest difference is the communication. I have a dedicated account manager who actually understands my brand and sends me weekly Loom videos walking through the numbers. It finally feels like I have a real partner, not just a vendor.

They rescued our supplement launch

We were launching a new supplement in a brutally competitive category and our initial attempts were a disaster. We were burning cash on PPC with almost no sales and stuck on page 5. The CommerceKind team came in, completely overhauled our listing copy and A+ content, and built a launch strategy from scratch. Within 60 days, we hit the #1 New Release badge and are now holding strong on the first page for our main keywords. They literally saved the product.

True full-service management

I was spending 20+ hours a week in Seller Central dealing with inventory headaches, stranded listings, and fighting with support. Handing the reins to CommerceKind has been a massive weight off my shoulders. They handle everything from A to Z, and I've been able to get back to what I'm actually good at—developing new products. Worth every penny for the peace of mind alone.

Look at the TACoS, not just the ACoS

Our previous agency bragged about a low ACoS, but our overall sales were completely flat. CommerceKind explained how to use PPC to actually drive organic rank. They restructured our campaigns, cut a ton of wasted spend, and reinvested it into keywords that actually moved the needle. In four months, our TACoS dropped from 18% to 11% while our total revenue increased by 40%. The numbers speak for themselves.

Trustpilot Review

Our conversion rate doubled

We had a great product in the home goods space, but our listing looked amateur and our conversion rate was stuck at 7%. CommerceKind's creative team did a full redesign—new main image, clear infographics, and a gorgeous Brand Store. The difference was immediate. Our conversion rate jumped to 15% in the first three weeks, which made all our ads way more profitable too.

Great Partner to Scale Our Business!

We have been working with CommerceKind for over 2 years, and they have helped us grow our Amazon business from the ground up. They've handled everything from product launches to PPC management, and the results have been great. Sales have steadily grown, and our ACoS is the lowest it's ever been.

Frequently asked questions

Which Amazon agency is best for lawn and garden brands?

Look for an agency that plans stock and ads around the spring and summer season, checks pesticide, fertilizer, seed, battery and fuel rules before listing, works out the cheapest way to fulfil bulky items and bids PPC on margin. CommerceKind does all of this with an in-house team that manages 60+ brands and $3M+ in monthly ad spend, and has helped generate $100M+ in revenue for client brands.

Which lawn and garden products do you work with?

Garden tools, planters and raised beds, seeds and growing kits, fertilizer, soil and plant food, weed and pest control, hoses and irrigation, solar and outdoor lighting, bird feeders, grills and outdoor cooking, and patio furniture.

When should garden brands start planning for spring on Amazon?

Several months ahead. FBA check-in slows in spring when every garden brand ships at once, so we plan stock to be live before demand starts and test ads before the peak.

Can you sell weed killer or pest control on Amazon?

Yes, if the product meets Amazon’s pesticide policy. On Amazon US that generally means an EPA registration number or the minimum-risk exemption, claims that match the label and any state registration needed. We check this before listing and prepare the documents Amazon asks for.

Can seeds and live plants be sold through FBA?

Seeds usually can, with any state shipping restrictions respected. Live plants usually ship from your own warehouse or nursery rather than FBA. We plan fulfilment product by product.

How do you handle oversize fees for patio furniture and grills?

We compare FBA, Seller Fulfilled Prime and your own 3PL for each bulky product, review packaging to cut size tiers and damage, and set prices with the real fulfilment cost in mind.

Do cordless garden tools need extra documents on Amazon?

Products with lithium batteries usually go through Amazon’s dangerous goods review. We submit safety data sheets and battery details before stock ships so listings aren’t held.

Do you also run TikTok Shop for garden and outdoor brands?

Yes. As an Official TikTok Shop Partner we run TikTok Shop for garden, outdoor and DIY brands with makeover and growing creators from our 10K+ network, LIVE and GMV Max.

Do you work outside the US?

Yes. We run Amazon in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Europe and other marketplaces.
