Seller and listing audit
Every seller on your ASINs listed with offer price, fulfilment method, Buy Box share and history, so you know who you are dealing with.
CommerceKind is an Amazon agency that helps brands deal with unauthorized sellers on Amazon. Our in-house team identifies every reseller on your listings, traces where their stock is likely coming from, runs test buys, files Brand Registry reports only where there is a real violation such as counterfeit, trademark or listing abuse, helps you put reseller and MAP policies in place with your legal counsel, and monitors your listings every week so the Buy Box stays with you or your authorized partners.

| What it looks like | What usually works | |
|---|---|---|
| Counterfeit products | Fake units sold on your listing | Test buy, then a Brand Registry counterfeit report with evidence; Transparency for repeat cases |
| Trademark or image misuse | Your logo, photos or brand name used on another listing | Brand Registry trademark or copyright report |
| Genuine but unauthorized stock | Real product bought elsewhere and resold | Distribution clean-up, reseller agreements and MAP policy with your legal counsel |
| Materially different products | Old, damaged or repackaged units sold as new | Test buy, evidence and the reporting route your counsel advises |
| Listing hijacks | Titles, images or variations changed on your ASIN | Brand Registry content control and listing abuse reports |
| Price undercutting below MAP | Advertised price below your policy | MAP policy enforcement through your reseller agreements, not Amazon reports |

Amazon does not remove a seller just because a brand has not authorized them. If the product is genuine and new, the seller is usually allowed to resell it, so reporting genuine resellers as counterfeit does not work and can put your own Brand Registry access at risk. What works is knowing exactly what each seller is selling. Counterfeit stock, trademark misuse and listing abuse can be reported to Amazon. Genuine but unauthorized stock is usually a distribution problem: it is solved upstream, by finding where the stock leaks out and tightening agreements, with reseller and MAP policies enforced through your legal counsel.
Every report we file is backed by evidence: test-buy photos, lot codes, packaging differences or trademark records. That keeps your reports credible with Amazon and your Brand Registry account in good standing. For brands with repeat counterfeit problems we also look at Amazon Transparency, which checks unit-level codes before enrolled products ship. See our Amazon brand protection and Amazon Brand Registry agency pages.
Most unauthorized Amazon sellers get stock from somewhere in your own supply chain: a distributor selling outside its territory, a retailer clearing excess, or a wholesale account buying more than it can sell. We help you find the leak with test buys and order patterns, then work with your team and legal counsel on authorized reseller agreements, a minimum advertised price policy and allocation rules. We do not give legal advice and we do not send legal notices ourselves.
Fewer unauthorized sellers is only half the job. We keep your own offer competitive with stock in FBA, healthy pricing and strong listings, so the Buy Box stays with you. Yes. CommerceKind helps brands remove or reduce unauthorized sellers: we audit every seller on your listings, run test buys, report real violations through Brand Registry, help clean up distribution and put reseller and MAP policies in place with your legal counsel, then monitor your listings every week.
Start by finding out what each seller is selling. Counterfeit stock, trademark misuse and listing abuse can be reported through Brand Registry with evidence. Genuine but unauthorized stock usually has to be stopped at the source, by tightening distribution and enforcing reseller agreements and a MAP policy with your legal counsel.
Usually not. If the product is genuine and new, Amazon generally allows resale. Amazon acts on counterfeit products, intellectual property violations and listing abuse, which is why evidence from test buys matters.
Only if the product really is counterfeit. False counterfeit reports can lead Amazon to restrict your Brand Registry reporting. We test-buy first and report only what the evidence supports.
No. Amazon does not enforce minimum advertised price policies for brands. MAP is enforced through your agreements with resellers and distributors. We monitor prices and help you enforce your policy with your legal counsel.
It helps a lot. Brand Registry gives you reporting tools, more control of your detail pages and access to Transparency. We can help you enrol.
Counterfeit and IP reports can be resolved in days to weeks. Distribution clean-up usually takes longer, often a few months, because stock already in the market has to sell through. We report progress every month.
Yes. Alongside reseller control we keep your own offer competitive with FBA stock, steady pricing and strong listings, so you or your authorized partners hold the Buy Box.
Yes. Agencies can offer this under their own brand through our white-label Amazon brand protection, with an NDA and non-solicit first.
