Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026: Lessons for Q4

Prime Big Deal Days is the closest thing you get to a dress rehearsal for Black Friday. The 2026 event is over. Before the holiday rush starts, here’s how to read your own results and turn them into a better Q4 plan.

Prime Big Deal Days2026: lessons for Q4Review the event, plan the holidaysQ4 2026
Short answer

Prime Big Deal Days 2026 ran October 6–7. Use your own numbers from the event to answer four questions before Black Friday: did you have enough stock, were the deals profitable, did ads scale efficiently, and did the event bring new customers who came back? The answers shape your Q4 budget and inventory plan.

Four questions to answer from your own data

Did stock hold up?Check which ASINs went low or out of stock and how long restocks took. Holiday demand runs for weeks, not two days.
Were deals profitable?Add up the discount, deal fees, referral fees and ad spend per unit. A deal that sold out at a loss isn’t a win.
Did ads scale well?Compare CPC, conversion rate and ACoS for the event days with the two weeks before. Note where budgets ran out early.
Did it bring new customers?Look at new-to-brand metrics in your Amazon Ads reports and whether sales stayed higher the week after.

A simple post-event review

Look atWhere to find itWhat it tells you for Q4
Units, sales and sessions by dayBusiness Reports in Seller CentralHow much demand spiked and how fast it faded
Deal performanceDeals and Coupons dashboardsWhich discounts moved units and which didn’t
CPC, ACoS and TACoSAmazon Ads console and your own reportsHow much harder ads must work during peak days
Budget capsCampaign budget historyCampaigns that ran out of budget mid-day
New-to-brand customersAmazon Ads reports (where available)Whether the event grew your customer base
Stock levels and inboundFBA inventory and restock reportsYour real buffer for Black Friday
Keep it honest: compare against your own baseline, not headlines. Category, price point and deal type change results so much that someone else’s numbers tell you very little about yours.

Turning the review into a Q4 plan

  1. Fix inventory firstIf anything ran low in October, book restocks now and check FBA capacity and inbound timelines before Black Friday on November 27.
  2. Pick deals on marginKeep the deal types and discounts that sold profitably. Drop the ones that only moved units at a loss.
  3. Set peak-day budgetsIf campaigns capped out during the event, raise daily budgets ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday (November 30) and use budget rules where they help.
  4. Retarget event visitorsShoppers who viewed or added to cart in October are a warm audience for November display and Sponsored Brands campaigns.
  5. Refresh listingsUse October’s search terms and review feedback to tighten titles, bullets and images before traffic peaks.

Mistakes to avoid this Q4

  • Judging the event on revenue alone without counting deal and ad costs
  • Letting best sellers run out of stock between events
  • Running the same budgets on peak days as on normal days
  • Turning ads off right after events and losing momentum
  • Copying another brand’s discount levels instead of using your own margin

Trustworthy partner in the Amazon business

I can say that I've found in CommerceKind a reliable and trustworthy partner in the Amazon business.

Before starting our collaboration I had several talks with Hamza where he showed to me the strategy and forecast with accuracy and realism; then after almost 3 months into the partnership I can state that his team's approach is deeply rooted into reality and efficiency since they operate on several sides of the seller account: ppc advertising and listing improvement, taking control over all issues that pop up when handling the operational side as well.

The weekly catch-up and open communication on everyday workflow makes them an asset in our structure.

After cycling through 3 agencies that overpromised...

After cycling through 3 agencies that overpromised and underdelivered, I was ready to manage everything in-house again. Giving CommerceKind a shot was a last-ditch effort, and I'm glad I did. The biggest difference is the communication. I have a dedicated account manager who actually understands my brand and sends me weekly Loom videos walking through the numbers. It finally feels like I have a real partner, not just a vendor.

They rescued our supplement launch

We were launching a new supplement in a brutally competitive category and our initial attempts were a disaster. We were burning cash on PPC with almost no sales and stuck on page 5. The CommerceKind team came in, completely overhauled our listing copy and A+ content, and built a launch strategy from scratch. Within 60 days, we hit the #1 New Release badge and are now holding strong on the first page for our main keywords. They literally saved the product.

True full-service management

I was spending 20+ hours a week in Seller Central dealing with inventory headaches, stranded listings, and fighting with support. Handing the reins to CommerceKind has been a massive weight off my shoulders. They handle everything from A to Z, and I've been able to get back to what I'm actually good at—developing new products. Worth every penny for the peace of mind alone.

Look at the TACoS, not just the ACoS

Our previous agency bragged about a low ACoS, but our overall sales were completely flat. CommerceKind explained how to use PPC to actually drive organic rank. They restructured our campaigns, cut a ton of wasted spend, and reinvested it into keywords that actually moved the needle. In four months, our TACoS dropped from 18% to 11% while our total revenue increased by 40%. The numbers speak for themselves.

Our conversion rate doubled

We had a great product in the home goods space, but our listing looked amateur and our conversion rate was stuck at 7%. CommerceKind's creative team did a full redesign—new main image, clear infographics, and a gorgeous Brand Store. The difference was immediate. Our conversion rate jumped to 15% in the first three weeks, which made all our ads way more profitable too.

Great Partner to Scale Our Business!

We have been working with CommerceKind for over 2 years, and they have helped us grow our Amazon business from the ground up. They've handled everything from product launches to PPC management, and the results have been great. Sales have steadily grown, and our ACoS is the lowest it's ever been.

What I really appreciate is how proactive and responsive they are. Anytime we have had a question or needed adjustments, they're quick to jump in with solutions. It feels like they truly care about our success, not just running ads.

Highly recommend CommerceKind if you're looking for a reliable partner to scale on Amazon!
