Marketplace selection
Which European marketplaces to open first and in what order, based on each client’s category demand, competition, margin after fees and VAT, and the paperwork each country needs.
CommerceKind runs Amazon Europe for marketing, ecommerce and Amazon agencies, under your agency’s brand. Our in-house team manages your clients on Amazon Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium and Ireland, and on Amazon UK, from one unified European Seller Central account. We choose which marketplaces to open first, build localized listings and A+ Content from each marketplace’s own search terms rather than a straight translation of the US listing, run Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands in each language, plan single-country FBA, Pan-European FBA and UK stock, and work through VAT, EPR and GPSR requirements with your client’s tax and compliance providers. Your clients only ever see your agency, and every report carries your logo.

Titles, bullets, descriptions, backend search terms and A+ Content localized for German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish and Polish shoppers, built from each marketplace’s own keywords and units, not copied from Amazon.com.
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns built per marketplace and language, with budgets, bids and ACoS targets set in each currency.
Single-country FBA to test, Pan-European FBA once demand is proven, separate UK inventory since Brexit, and restock plans so no marketplace runs dry.
A checklist covering VAT registration in each storage country, EPR numbers such as Germany’s LUCID packaging registration and France’s UINs, and the GPSR responsible person, worked through with the client’s providers.
European account health, listing deactivations, compliance requests and buyer messages handled for each marketplace, so a missing document doesn’t switch off a client’s listings.
| Language | What we plan closely | |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon.de (Germany) | German | EPR packaging (LUCID) and electrical registrations, German keywords and units, strong price competition |
| Amazon.fr (France) | French | EPR UINs for each applicable category, French copy and A+ Content |
| Amazon.it and Amazon.es (Italy, Spain) | Italian, Spanish | Separate keyword research per market, local VAT where stock is stored |
| Amazon.nl, .se, .pl, .com.be (Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium) | Dutch, Swedish, Polish, French/Dutch | Smaller markets opened after the core five, often through Pan-European FBA |
| Amazon.ie (Ireland) | English | English listings adapted from UK copy, euro pricing |
| Amazon.co.uk (UK) | English | UK VAT, UK labeling, separate UK FBA stock, UK responsible person rules |
We learn how your agency works with clients, sign an NDA and non-solicit, and agree who owns which conversations.
For each client we size demand marketplace by marketplace, review margins after fees, VAT and shipping, and hand you a white-labeled plan to present.
Listings built or extended to the chosen marketplaces, localized content live, FBA stock placed and PPC launched in each language.
Weekly updates in your Slack and a monthly report under your logo, with sales, ACoS, TACoS and stock by marketplace next to the client’s Amazon.com numbers.

Many agencies manage a client well on Amazon.com and then get asked about Europe. Selling in Germany, France, Italy or Spain is not just a translation job: each marketplace has its own search terms, its own competitors, its own prices and its own regulations. White-label Amazon Europe management means a partner team does that work for your clients inside each client’s own Seller Central account, while your agency stays the name the client sees. CommerceKind does it as the same in-house team that runs our white-label Amazon account management, so a client’s US and European accounts work from one plan.
A German shopper does not search for the literal translation of an American keyword, and a French A+ module written word for word from English rarely converts. We start from each marketplace’s own search data, then write titles, bullets, backend terms and A+ Content for that market, with local units, sizes and plug or voltage details where they matter. Amazon’s Build International Listings tool can copy offers across marketplaces, and we use it where it helps, but every listing that goes live is checked for that market. Agencies that only need content can also use our white-label Amazon listing optimization and white-label A+ Content services for European marketplaces.
Most clients start by sending stock to one EU country, often Germany, and selling across the other EU marketplaces from it. Once demand is proven, Pan-European FBA lets Amazon place stock in fulfillment centres across participating EU countries so more orders arrive fast with Prime, but every country where stock is stored can create a VAT registration requirement. Since Brexit, UK stock is separate from EU stock. We plan which option fits each client and coordinate stock levels with our white-label inventory management team.
Europe has more rules than Amazon.com, and Amazon enforces them. Sellers need VAT registration where they store stock and may need it where they sell. Germany and France require Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) registration numbers for packaging and other categories, and Amazon can restrict listings without them. Since December 2024, the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) has required consumer products to show a manufacturer and, for non-EU manufacturers, an EU-based responsible person. We are not tax advisers and do not file VAT returns or act as a responsible person; we build the checklist, work through it with the client’s accountant and compliance providers, enter the details in Seller Central and fix listings that are deactivated for missing information. Our white-label Amazon compliance team handles the Seller Central side.
Some agencies hand us the whole European channel for a client. Others keep Amazon.com in-house and use us only for Europe, or only for the markets where they don’t have language skills. Agencies taking clients to Canada or Mexico as well can see our white-label Amazon international expansion page, and brands looking for direct help can see our Amazon international expansion agency. We cover every Amazon marketplace, including the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK and the EU, and TikTok Shop in the US and the UK.
Before you hand a partner a client, ask six questions. Is the team in-house or freelance? Will they sign an NDA and a non-solicit? Do reports and audits go out under your brand? Do they work in your Slack or project tool? Is access granted through platform permissions rather than shared passwords? And can you start with one client without a long contract? We answer yes to every one: our team is in-house, we work in your Slack or ClickUp, and every report and audit carries your logo. It is Amazon management for an agency’s clients on the European marketplaces, run by a partner team under the agency’s brand. CommerceKind manages listings, localization, PPC, Pan-European FBA planning, account health and compliance coordination on Amazon Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Ireland and the UK, while your clients only see your agency.
All of them: Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.es, Amazon.nl, Amazon.se, Amazon.pl, Amazon.com.be and Amazon.ie, plus Amazon.co.uk. They are managed from the client’s unified European Seller Central account.
Yes, and we localize rather than translate word for word. Titles, bullets, backend search terms and A+ Content are built from each marketplace’s own search terms and checked for that market before they go live.
It depends on the category and margin, but Germany is Amazon’s largest European marketplace and is often first in the EU, and the UK is often quickest because the content is in English. We size demand marketplace by marketplace and recommend an order in a white-labeled plan.
We coordinate them. We build the checklist for VAT registration, EPR numbers such as LUCID in Germany and UINs in France, and the GPSR responsible person, work through it with the client’s accountant and compliance providers, and enter the details in Seller Central. We don’t file VAT returns or act as a responsible person ourselves.
Often, once demand is proven. Pan-European FBA spreads stock across participating EU countries for faster Prime delivery, but storing stock in a country can trigger VAT registration there. Many clients start with stock in one country and add Pan-European FBA later. UK stock is separate.
Yes. We build Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns per marketplace and language, with keyword research, bids and budgets set for each market and currency, and report ACoS and TACoS by marketplace.
No. We sign an NDA before you share any client details and a non-solicit agreement, and we never approach, contact or market to your clients. You own the relationship.
No. Access is granted through the platform’s own user-permission tools, which your client controls and can remove at any time. We never ask for shared passwords.
Yes. Most partners start with one client account to see how we work. There is no lock-in, and you add clients when you’re ready.
