A deal can sell a lot of units and still lose money once the discount, the deal fee, extra ad spend and FBA fees are added up. Coupons can stack with promotions or Subscribe and Save into a price that was never intended, and a deal on a product that is about to run out of stock wastes the traffic it creates. We start from each product’s contribution margin, so every discount has a reason and a limit.
Coupons show a badge in search results and on the listing, which often lifts click-through and conversion even at a modest discount. They suit launches, products competing on price and everyday use between events. We set the discount and budget per product, choose who the coupon is shown to where Amazon allows it and watch redemption cost against the extra sales.
Event deals are the main way brands take part in Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days and Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Each type has its own eligibility rules, submission windows and fees, and those change from event to event. We check eligibility early, submit before the deadline and pick the deal type that fits each product’s margin and stock.
Deals work best when stock and ads are ready. We time FBA inbound so deal products are checked in before the event, raise PPC budgets ahead of and during deals, point Sponsored Brands at deal products and pull spend back once the event ends. See our Amazon inventory management and Amazon PPC services. We manage $3M+ in monthly ad spend across our clients. In one account, a rebuilt campaign structure turned 54% more ad spend into 117% more ad revenue at a lower ACoS: see the PPC scaling case study. Results depend on product, margin and category, and we share a plan after reviewing your account.
For supplements, pet food, coffee, grocery and household products, the first order is only the start. We plan coupons and launch discounts to win first orders, then use Subscribe and Save to keep shoppers reordering, and judge results on repeat orders as well as the first sale.

Yes. CommerceKind plans and runs coupons, Prime Exclusive Discounts, Lightning Deals, Best Deals and promotions for brand owners: promo calendar, eligibility and deal pricing from margin, submissions in your Seller Central, stock and PPC around each deal and net-return reporting after fees and discounts.
Often, yes, when the discount and budget are set from margin. Coupons show a badge in search results that can lift click-through and conversion. They lose money when they stack with other discounts or run on products with thin margins, so we set them per product and track redemption cost.
A coupon is a clip-on discount any eligible shopper can redeem, shown in search results and on the listing. A Prime Exclusive Discount is a price discount shown to Prime members, often used during Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days and Q4.
It depends on margin, stock, reviews and the goal. Coupons suit everyday use and launches, Prime Exclusive Discounts suit big events, Lightning Deals and Best Deals drive volume on strong products where offered, and some products are better with ads only.
Common reasons are ratings below the requirement, price history that does not support the reference price, too little stock or account and listing issues. We check eligibility early and fix what can be fixed before submission windows close.
Some discounts can combine, which can push the price lower than intended. We check coupons, promotions, Subscribe and Save and deal prices together before anything goes live.
