Amazon offers a package of benefits to new Professional sellers in the US, published on its New Seller Incentives page: a bonus on branded sales for brands that join Brand Registry early, credits toward Amazon Vine, credits for shipping and placing inventory with Fulfillment by Amazon and Amazon Global Logistics, and free storage, liquidations and returns for new products through the FBA New Selection program. Amazon also updates how and when credits are paid. The figures on this page reflect what Amazon published at the time of writing; Seller Central shows the current terms for your account.
Each benefit has its own clock. The branded-sales bonus depends on enrolling in Brand Registry within six months of your first eligible listing. The Vine credit depends on enrolling a product within 90 days of Brand Registry. FBA credits depend on sending eligible inventory within 90 days of listing. A launch that lists early and ships late, or registers the brand after the window, can miss benefits it was entitled to. We plan the order of work so the dates line up.
Brand Registry is the gateway to the largest incentive and to tools such as A+ Content, Brand Stores, Sponsored Brands and Vine. If your trademark is registered or pending, we help with Brand Registry before or shortly after the first listing goes live. If your products have no barcodes, we handle GTIN exemptions as part of the same setup.
Credits lower launch costs, but sales come from a strong product page and steady demand. We pair the incentives with listing optimization, Amazon Vine management, Amazon PPC set from margin and an Amazon product launch plan. We have launched 150+ stores. See the baby vitamin D keyword case study.
The New Seller Incentives are for new sellers, but established brands can still benefit when they bring new products to FBA through the FBA New Selection program, and through the Brand Referral Bonus when they send outside traffic to Amazon. Our Amazon external traffic team sets up Amazon Attribution so that bonus is tracked.
