Badge and term review
Where you hold Amazon’s Choice now, where competitors hold it, and the search terms where your products have a realistic chance, using Brand Analytics.
CommerceKind is an Amazon agency that helps brands give their products the best chance of being highlighted as Amazon’s Choice. Nobody can buy or apply for the badge, and no agency can guarantee it. What we do is work on the things Amazon says it looks at: ratings and reviews, competitive pricing, products in stock and ready to ship, fast delivery, low returns and strong relevance and sales for the search terms that matter. We track where you hold the badge and where you could, using Brand Analytics.

Amazon’s Choice is a label Amazon shows on products it recommends for a particular search, to help shoppers find a good option quickly. According to Amazon, products highlighted as Amazon’s Choice are highly rated, well priced and available to ship immediately, and on average are delivered faster and returned less often than alternatives. Amazon says it considers what customers tell it matters most, including ratings, price, popularity, availability and fast delivery. It is not offered for every search, and it changes as customer preferences and product performance change.
Amazon states that brands and selling partners cannot pay for Amazon’s Choice or apply to be considered, and products sold by third-party sellers can earn it. So any service that promises the badge is overselling. Our job is to make your product the strongest choice on the factors Amazon names, and to keep it that way. You also cannot use the phrase or the badge in your own titles, images or content.
A product can be Amazon’s Choice for one search and not another. That is why we start from search terms, not products: which terms drive your sales, who holds the badge on each, and where your product is close. Brand Analytics includes Amazon’s Choice data for brand owners, which we use to track progress. See our Amazon keyword ranking page and our keyword click share case study.
Usually one or two factors decide it. A product with strong reviews may lose out because it keeps going out of stock or ships slowly. Another may be priced well above similar products. We fix the weakest factor first: review management and product fixes for ratings, pricing strategy for price, inventory management for availability, Seller Fulfilled Prime or FBA for delivery, and return rate reduction for returns.
The Best Seller badge goes to the top-selling product in a category, based on sales. Amazon’s Choice is tied to a search and weighs ratings, price, availability, delivery and returns as well as popularity. Both follow from strong sales and a strong listing, which is where our listing optimization and Amazon PPC work comes in. Results depend on product, category and competition.

No agency can guarantee it. Amazon awards Amazon’s Choice itself, and brands cannot pay or apply for it. CommerceKind works on the factors Amazon says it considers, ratings, price, availability, delivery speed, returns and popularity for the search, to give your products the best chance.
